The best way to clean your board is with warm water, mild soap, and a washcloth. The dishwasher should NOT be used, as the heat can cause the glue to fail, even in a brand new product. It is normal for cutting boards to become marred with knife marks with use. If the wood seems to be absorbing water, looks dry, or looks discolored, you can rub mineral oil into the wood with a cloth. Mineral oil is food safe and the best way to revive your board. You should add mineral oil a few times a year or more depending on use. If your product is looking tired or damaged, please contact me for more information. It may be possible for me to fix or restore your item for a reasonable fee.
